Position Overview
Cart Mart is seeking a driven, highly organized, and tech-savvy Inside Sales Representative to join our Consumer Sales team in Rancho Mirage beginning in October 2026.
This is a sales position—not an administrative support role. You will be responsible for responding to inbound leads, managing customer relationships, creating quotes, maintaining an active sales pipeline, supporting showroom customers, and using digital content to generate additional opportunities.
Technology is a central part of this position. You must be comfortable learning and using a CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, texting platforms, digital quoting tools, inventory systems, and social media channels throughout the workday. Strong computer skills and the ability to accurately manage multiple systems are essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Pipeline Management
- Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads by phone, email, text, and other digital channels
- Manage leads, customer communications, follow-up activities, and sales opportunities through the company CRM
- Prepare and send quotes, document customer activity, and move opportunities through the sales process
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date customer and opportunity records
- Consistently follow up with prospects to convert online inquiries into appointments, test drives, and sales
- Take ownership of your pipeline and actively work toward individual and team sales goals
Technology and Communication
- Use the company CRM as the primary system for managing customer relationships and sales activity
- Communicate internally and externally using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Work efficiently across multiple digital platforms, including quoting, inventory, messaging, and reporting systems
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when entering customer information, recording activity, scheduling follow-ups, and tracking opportunities
- Learn new technology quickly and use it consistently as part of the daily sales process
Digital Sales and Content
- Capture clean, high-quality photos and videos of available inventory
- Create and manage online vehicle listings, including Facebook Marketplace
- Respond to online inquiries and convert digital engagement into showroom traffic
- Participate in the creation of Reels, Shorts, vehicle walkarounds, delivery highlights, and other sales-focused content
- Use company and personal social media channels professionally to promote inventory and generate leads
- Collaborate with the marketing team to improve online visibility and customer engagement
Customer Experience
- Build strong customer relationships through timely, professional, and consistent communication
- Guide customers from their first inquiry through the showroom visit and purchasing process
- Learn each customer’s needs and recommend appropriate golf carts, street-legal vehicles, accessories, and solutions
- Provide a seamless experience across phone, email, text, online, and in-person interactions
- Represent Cart Mart with professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong product knowledge
Showroom and Inventory Support
- Assist walk-in customers and support the broader sales team as needed
- Stay informed about current inventory, pricing, financing options, promotions, and product features
- Help ensure vehicles are properly merchandised and ready for customer demonstrations
- Manage vehicle Monroney labels and related sales materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready showroom

- Communicate effectively through Outlook, Teams, phone, email, and text
- Use social media and digital content as practical sales tools
- Balance online lead management with in-person showroom activity
- Learn products, systems, and sales processes quickly
- Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and confidence using modern business technology
- Ability to learn and work within a CRM system
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and related digital communication tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple leads, conversations, appointments, and follow-up tasks
- Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or a related customer-facing role
- Interest or experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or online sales
- Ability to take professional-looking photos and videos of inventory
- Comfortable appearing on camera and participating in social media content
- Self-motivated, dependable, coachable, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Experience in automotive, powersports, golf carts, recreational vehicles, or another dealership environment is helpful but not required.
