San Ramon, California | Onsite | Full-Time

Are you an experienced healthcare operations leader ready to take ownership of an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and drive clinical, operational, and financial excellence? We’re seeking a Surgery Center Administrator to lead day-to-day facility operations, partner with physicians and governing leadership, and build a high-performing environment focused on quality, patient experience, and sustainable growth.

Executive-level ASC leadership opportunity with broad responsibility across operations, quality, finance, and facility performance
Work closely with physicians, medical staff, governing boards, facility leadership, and corporate leadership
Direct influence over financial performance, staffing, patient experience, quality, and operational strategy

Key Responsibilities:

Direct daily administrative, clinical-support, and business operations of the surgery center
Oversee staffing, workforce planning, employee performance, operating budgets, and facility performance
Build strong relationships with physicians, medical staff, and governing boards, serving as a key operational liaison
Drive quality, patient safety, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness
Monitor financial and operational performance while identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and improvement

A major component of this role is the ability to operate at the intersection of clinical care, physician partnership, and business performance.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field
Demonstrated healthcare leadership and operational management experience
Direct Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership experience strongly preferred
Hospital Surgical Services leadership experience with ASC exposure will also be considered
Experience working with physicians, medical staff, and governing boards
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial performance, staffing, quality, and regulatory compliance
