Job Title: Business Support Specialist
Location: Park Rapids, MN
Compensation: $23.75-$24.25 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: Night Shift
Job Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hire

About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Operations Support Specialist for a leading food supplier located in Park Rapids, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

What You'll Do as a Business Support Specialist:

Answer incoming calls, determine purpose and forward calls to the appropriate department
Greet on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
Monitor visual access and issue passes when required
Assist tour facilitator with name badges and proper PPE for visitors
Maintain and update PPE for plant associates when needed
Update security badges for employees and contractors
Update crew schedules on a daily basis including vacation coverage, call-ins, and temporary job assignments
Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, faxing and collating

What You Need to Bring to the Business Support Specialist Role:

High school diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English or willingness to learn
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
Excellent people skills and communication
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work overtime when necessary for workload and absences
Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or similar field preferred #IndeedNorth
