Full Job Description

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Political Canvasser and play a vital role in engaging communities and promoting civic participation. In this paid position, you will actively connect with voters through door-to-door outreach, leveraging your communication skills to inform, persuade, and motivate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in canvassing, sales, customer service, and community engagement while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to educate voters about candidates, policies, or initiatives
Engage with diverse community members using clear, compelling communication to inform and persuade
Collect feedback and voter preferences to support campaign strategies and outreach efforts
Manage and record interactions accurately using digital tools or paper logs
Coordinate with team members to ensure coverage of assigned neighborhoods and events
Participate in training sessions to stay informed about campaign messages and best outreach practices
Demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm while representing the campaign’s mission and values

Experience:

Strong background in marketing, sales, telemarketing or customer service enhances effectiveness in engaging voters
Bilingual abilities are highly valued for connecting with diverse communities--specifically Spanish and English speaker
Proven skills in canvassing, negotiation, and communication are essential for success in this role
Experience in door-to-door sales or fundraising can provide a solid foundation for engaging voters effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations confidently
Previous experience with community outreach or political campaigns is a plus but not mandatory
