Job Title: Chef / Kitchen Manager

Company Overview: Eno’s Basement Bar is a new American bar and restaurant, opening up under the Days Inn of Pensacola, located on the corner of Cervantes St and Palafox St. Eno’s is a fun and relaxed throwback to the 1970’s where we encourage you to come for the long play. Eno’s approach to hospitality is to be your “home away from home.” We serve simple, no-fuss, great tasting cocktails and food.

Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality. You will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development: Help create and innovate seasonal menus that reflect local flavors and culinary trends.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s high standards for presentation, taste, and safety.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maintain profitability.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Customer Engagement: Interact with guests to enhance their dining experience and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Operational Efficiency: Streamline kitchen operations to maximize productivity and minimize waste.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity.
Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
