$32.78 – $48.72/hour based on experience
Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Additional $3.50/hour Night Shift Differential

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory therapist or a new graduate ready to begin their career. You'll work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals while providing critical respiratory care to patients across the lifespan.

What You'll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality respiratory and cardiopulmonary care while working as an important member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities include:

Perform respiratory treatments and diagnostic procedures according to physician orders
Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, airway clearance therapies, and other respiratory treatments
Assist with ventilator management and advanced respiratory support
Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Monitor patient response to treatments and communicate changes to the healthcare team
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient outcomes
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Follow hospital safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered respiratory care

Qualifications

Required:

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
Current Illinois Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility
New graduates may be considered with a letter of authority while completing state licensing requirements
Current ACLS certification

Preferred:

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
