Position Overview:

Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the perfect blend of a servant’s heart for patient care and passion for retail excellence? As our Eyecare Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our patients' eye care journey. From providing a world-class experience inside the optical to managing diagnostic medical equipment, this role is integral to providing a seamless and delightful experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Optical Sales - consult patients on the ideal combination of frame and lens design for their prescription and lifestyle.
Manage and dispense eyeglasses and contact lens orders, with accuracy and mindfulness of patient experience.
Educate and train contact lens wearers on proper application, removal, cleaning, and care techniques.
Oversee and manage inventory of eyeglasses and contact lenses, maintaining optimal stock levels.
Assist our doctors by gathering medical histories and operating advanced diagnostic equipment, including auto-refractors, iCare tonometers, visual field analyzers, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), and Optomap retinal imaging systems.
Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers and facilitate communication between our offices and external facilities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
Foster excellent communication with colleagues and contribute positively to our team culture.
Uphold strict confidentiality of patient records and handle sensitive information with care.
Be adaptable and willing to cross-train in various roles to support the team during peak times or unexpected absences.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break).
Occasional Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous sales or customer service experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Authorization to work in the US.
Optical experience is not required; we provide training.
