Join our Team as a Personal Trainer at The Iron House

The Iron House is an exciting new personal training studio with expansion plans in the works. We’re looking to add the right mix of people to our team that can help us deliver a new brand of personal training—one that is accessible and focuses on strength and nutrition for all body types and ages.

As we prepare to expand to new locations and break boundaries in personal fitness, we are looking for individuals with the right personalities, above all. If you’re a great listener, have an intuitive sense of people’s needs and possess a high emotional intelligence (EQ), then we are committed to continually developing your skills with our brand of coaching in strength and nutrition as well as management and mentorship.

About Us:

All training at The Iron House is personal. We offer both 1-on-1 personal training and POD Personal Training™—our brand of small-group training sessions with up to six clients, but no less personal. Our progressive strength programs are designed to challenge every body type as we track personal growth and individual PRs. All our Head Coaches are also Nutrition Certified and equipped to deliver our brand of personalized nutrition coaching to all our members. We believe in fostering lasting change through strength, nutrition, and supportive coaching.

Job Description:

We are seeking Personal Trainers who are not only passionate about individual coaching but also thrive in a team environment. Our ideal candidates possess a high level of hospitality, kindness, empathy, work ethic, and integrity. As part of our team, you'll have access to a wealth of knowledge to assist you in programming for private clients (1:1), while also collaborating on weekly programming for POD Personal Training sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking highly motivated personal trainers who are not only skilled in individualized coaching but also thrive in a collaborative, team environment. Candidates should embody hospitality, empathy, kindness, integrity, and work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver our brand of personal training and nutrition

· Collaborate with our Program Director to help build the programming each week

· Track client progress, personal records (PRs), and maintain detailed training notes

· Ensure cleanliness and organization of gym equipment areas

· Participate in team meetings to continue personal growth

· Perform other essential duties as assigned by management

Job Type: Part-time to Full-Time

Available Hours: 8 - 40 per week

Work Location: Alamo, CA to start

Pay Range: $40.00 - $60.00+ per hour (plus bonus opportunities)

License/Certification Required: Certified Personal Trainer or equivalent education
