Full Job Description

We have a great staff but are looking for an organized individual with cooking experience to round out our team.

Duties include:

Prep food according to kitchen regulations and guidelines
Work with staff to prepare meals during dining hours
Work with owner to update menu as may be required
Maintain food inventories and assist in ordering
Properly stock and store food items at appropriate temperatures
Rotate stock items as per established procedures
Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, with all staff members working as a team to ensure that our guests enjoy their time in our establishment.

A great opportunity to get in with a new venture that is doing well, but looking to continue growing and developing the menu.

Qualification requirements:

Experience as a Cook in the restaurant industry
Able to read and follow standardized recipes
Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
ServeSafe Certification preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
