Job Overview
Harborside Inn is seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong time management skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. As a Front Desk Agent, you will ensure that guests have a positive experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and assistance as needed.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using computerized systems.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Uphold cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Experience

Previous experience in a front desk or customer support role is preferred but not required.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in office software and reservation systems.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service with a positive attitude.
Familiarity with administrative duties and clerical work is advantageous.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone.

Must be able to work from 2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am, including on weekends and holidays. Join our team as a Front Desk Agent where your skills will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
