We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep and repair of our warehouse and office facility. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and has experience performing a wide variety of building maintenance, handyman, and facility support tasks.
This role is responsible for assisting with facility maintenance activities; coordinating repairs with third-party vendors as needed; maintaining building systems and equipment; performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and fabrication work; and ensuring the facility's overall appearance and functionality. The successful candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting maintenance issues, completing preventative maintenance tasks, operating facility equipment, and supporting general warehouse and office housekeeping needs both indoors and outdoors.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, the ability to operate maintenance equipment safely, and a commitment to workplace safety. Experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support facility maintenance with third-party vendors when necessary.
- Ensure all warehouse 5S floor tape is well-maintained and replaced when needed.
- Evaluate functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements, along with studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
- Change all office light bulbs when needed.
- Perform light building maintenance, which consists of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry duties.
- Light to medium fabrication work.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Scrape/clear rust and re-paint metal doors, railings, walkways, and awnings, etc., when needed.
- Monitor warehouse dock equipment and maintain dock light bulbs & report malfunctioning docks and dock locks.
- Monitor facility irrigation and pump house systems.
- Misc. handyman duties such as furniture assembly, installing shelves, performing office moves, equipment assembly, concrete drilling, floor scraping, etc., as needed.
- Maintain supplies in all the restrooms and the break rooms, i.e., paper towels, paper plates, and utensils.
- Fresh Interior painting and touch-up when needed in offices, warehouse, bathrooms, and break rooms.
- Scrub the common warehouse floor daily and the warehouse storage rows on a cyclical schedule.
- Maintain/replace electrical sockets/covers and change sockets in offices and warehouses when needed.
- Troubleshoot heating/cooling system, change filters, etc.
- Maintain and change water filtration filters.
- Maintain and fill the water softener periodically.
- Maintain testing on inbound water from tanks.
- Diagnose and report roof leaks.
- Provide off-hours facility access and supervision to third-party contractors, as needed.
- Assist with janitorial duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, trash & recyclable removal, floor mopping, etc. when needed.
- Wax and buff office floors periodically.
- Maintain the warehouse floor scrubbing machine.
- Check oil/hydraulic levels in the cardboard compactor and schedule maintenance accordingly.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the grounds for the facility by performing outdoor housekeeping, such as picking up any trash and removing debris from walkways and pavement.
- Light pruning/weeding if needed.
- Occasional light shoveling during the winter months.
- Schedule cardboard and scrap metal recyclable pickups when necessary.
- Use the stock picker to clean high windows (warehouse offices).
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional building and outdoor maintenance is a must.
- Strong background in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC preferred.
- US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available).
Skills:
- Detailed Organizational Skills.
- Good verbal communication skills must be able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work alone without much direction and must be motivated.
- Experienced/certified with Forklift, Cherry Picker, and WAV machines is preferred but not required.
