The Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery and Pediatrics will guide Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, and broader Women and Children services at a Large regional hospital distinguished by its Historic character. This leadership role oversees maternal-child nursing operations, supports safe childbirth and pediatric care, advances patient experience initiatives, and helps ensure consistent clinical standards across the continuum. The Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery and Pediatrics will have the opportunity to strengthen family-centered care, promote evidence-based practices, and shape the future of women’s and children’s healthcare throughout the region.

Reporting to senior nursing leadership, the Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery and Pediatrics will receive executive support, operational resources, and partnership from experienced clinical and administrative leaders. Responsibilities include staffing and workforce development, budgeting, regulatory readiness, performance improvement, patient safety, quality outcomes, and strategic planning. The Nurse Director of Labor and Delivery and Pediatrics will lead friendly nurses and collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, advanced practice providers, educators, therapists, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals who value respect, communication, and shared accountability.
