Job Title: Bookkeeper/ Office Manager

Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: 1620 N. Mamer Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99216 (in-person)

About Us:

Our firm is focused on developing and managing our multi-family and commercial real estate portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking to hire a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to assist the Controller by taking responsibility for day-to-day financial functions, maintaining accounting controls/procedures/organization and producing reports to help drive strategic growth. Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership over all day-to-day accounting, finance and reporting functions, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, job costing and financial statement preparation
Assist in implementing internal controls, policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Manage and maintain the organization of accounting/business records
Coordinate with business partners and third-party vendors

Qualifications:

7+ years of bookkeeping experience
Experience in construction or related accounting field is necessary
Strong understanding of project-based accounting and cost tracking
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Experience implementing and maintaining accounting controls and procedures
Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting transactions and reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and/or industry-specific platforms)
Excellent leadership, communication, organization and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, positive attitude and a desire to learn
