Full Job Description

Alliance Property Management is hiring for our growing market-rate portfolio in Red Wing, MN. As an apartment Leasing Agent/Assistant Property Manager you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to prospective residents while ensuring the property remains fully leased. You will guide potential renters through the leasing process, manage inquiries, and help create a welcoming living environment for all tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing

Respond to prospective resident inquiries in a timely manner.
Schedule and conduct apartment tours.
Follow up with prospects throughout the leasing process.
Process rental applications and assist with lease preparation.
Coordinate move-in appointments and resident onboarding.
Maintain strong occupancy through proactive leasing and follow-up efforts.

Resident Relations

Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions and concerns.
Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate updates with residents.
Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives.
Prepare resident notices and other correspondence.
Help ensure a positive resident experience by providing excellent customer service.

Administrative Support

Maintain resident files and leasing documentation.
Update and manage information within the property management software.
Assist with move-in and move-out documentation.
Prepare occupancy, leasing, and activity reports.
Provide general administrative support to the Regional Property Manager.

Property Operations Support

Assist with apartment inspections and unit turnovers.
Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for tours and move-ins.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
Assist with marketing available apartments and special projects.
Support onsite operations to help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the properties.

Qualifications: Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree (preferred).
Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service (preferred).

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RentCafe).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid Minnesota driver’s license and reliable transportation.
MN Real Estate License preferred
