Details:

Team members should maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. This includes handling food with care, accurately communicating menu options and ingredients, and addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and respectfully. Team members should foster a warm and welcoming environment for guests, teammates, and vendors
All team members are expected to adhere to policies in the Employee Handbook and to follow our Mission Statement
Proper food handling is critical to prevent contamination, allergic reactions, and foodborne illnesses. Workers should be knowledgeable about safe food storage temperatures, proper thawing and cooking techniques, and avoiding cross contamination
Regular cleaning and sanitizing of all food contact surfaces, utensils, and equipment is essential. Team members should understand the importance of using approved sanitizers and following proper cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic environment
Team members should be aware of common food allergens and understand how to prevent cross-contact between allergenic and non-allergenic foods. This includes proper labeling of ingredients and allergen-friendly food preparation techniques

Details and Path to Promotion

Line/ Prep Cook:

Adhere to all duties of Dishwasher when needed
Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
Coordinate cooking times with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas

Promotion Path:

Demonstrate efficiency in food preparation tasks and cooking techniques
Learn and master the recipes and techniques used in food preparation
Take on additional responsibilities such as organizing inventory or assisting with kitchen deep cleaning projects
Take on leadership responsibilities such as supervising other kitchen staff during shifts
Express interest in moving into a senior chef role and work closely with the current sous chef or head chef to develop management skills
Coordinate cooking times with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment
Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
