Full Job Description

**TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF QBO EXPERIENCE, HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MULTIPLE CLIENTS AT THE SAME TIME**

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely financials for growing businesses.

At 2 Labs Financial Services, we don’t just “do the books”; we partner with our clients to give them clarity and confidence in their numbers. If you enjoy managing multiple clients, building relationships, and improving processes along the way, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to mid-sized clients and serving as their primary accounting contact.

Maintain and oversee books for multiple clients at the same time (this is essential to the role)
Review and manage daily transactions, including bank feeds, accounts payable, and receivable
Perform full balance sheet reconciliations monthly and ensure accuracy across all accounts
Prepare and review monthly financial statements with meaningful insights
Identify errors, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvements
Support and manage month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with budgets, forecasting, and performance tracking
Communicate directly with clients in a clear, professional, and relationship-forward way
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure consistency and quality across engagements
Continuously improve workflows, systems, and processes

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

You have experience managing multiple clients simultaneously and are comfortable switching between them throughout the day
You are highly organized and can prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
You take ownership of your work and don’t wait to be told something is off
You communicate well with both clients and team members and are comfortable asking questions when needed
You care about delivering clean, accurate financials that clients can rely on

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, or similar role handling multiple clients at once (required)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and full close processes
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO required; certification is a plus)
Solid Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Bonus Experience (but not required)

Hands-on experience with Double software (formerly known as Keeper)
Experience working in an accounting firm, CAS practice, or outsourced accounting environment
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or KPI reporting
Process improvement mindset

This role is best suited for someone who has worked in a multi-client environment (such as an accounting firm or outsourced accounting team). Candidates coming from single-company, in-house roles may find the pace and structure of this position to be very different.
