Full Job Description

FGVA is the premier provider of home and community-based mental health, crisis, and substance abuse services in Virginia. We currently have an open position available for a LMHP and LMHP-E Clinician in our24 hour Crisis Receiving Center. This position is remote/telemedicine.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Licensed and Licensed Eligible Clinician, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering crisis services to adults in the community and residential setting. Your responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM multidimensional assessments.
Complete service authorization requests and peer to peer reviews as needed.
Providing ongoing evaluation and assessment to tailor treatment approaches to the evolving needs of each client.
Collaborating with clinical specialists and community resources to ensure holistic support.
Engaging in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and expertise.

Rates:

Licensed Clinician rates vary depending on position accepted
Licensed Eligible Clinician rates vary depending on position accepted
Set on-call pay for being available and rate for each assessment completed while on call.

Experience/Minimum Qualifications Required:

A minimum of a Master's degree in a human services field related to social work, sociology, psychology, education or counseling, substance abuse, etc.
Licensed clinicians (LMHP) must be in good standing with the Virginia health regulatory board and remain in continuous compliance with applicable board’s requirement for clinical practice.
Licensed eligible clinicians (LMHP-E) must be approved by the applicable Virginia health regulatory board as a Supervisee in Social Work or Resident in Counseling and remain in continuous compliance with applicable board’s requirement for supervised practice.
One year of experience as a supervisor providing clinical services for QMHP staff servicing individuals with mental illness and/or substance use.
Experience in providing mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment according to DMAS/DBHDS regulations, and ASAM criteria.
Computer proficiency for use of laptop and Electronic Health Record system.
Good driving record as this position requires driving agency vehicles and transporting clients. To meet insurance requirements, the candidate's driving record must have no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal driving violations in the last five years.
Ability to pass all background checks and clearances.
