Full Job Description

Builds the creative strategy, testing framework, and messaging systems that fuel profitable customer acquisition.

Location: Remote

Role

You own the strategy and execution that fuels Kings Loot’s paid growth. You partner with creators to develop high-performing creative while owning the strategy, messaging, testing, and iteration behind Kings Loot's paid acquisition efforts. Success in this role is measured by consistently delivering winning creative that enables Kings Loot to scale paid acquisition more profitably while continuously improving our creative systems, documentation, and organizational knowledge.

Responsibilities

Campaign Architecture & Creative Briefs

Create structured creative briefs for designers, video editors, and creators across Meta, TikTok, and Youtube

Define core concepts, hooks, angles, and formats for each product drop or seasonal campaign

Align messaging with both brand voice and platform-specific performance nuances

Partner with Head of Performance Marketing and UGC creators to sync on product priorities, launch timing, and CTA strategy

Continuously identify and implement AI workflows that improve creative quality, research speed, briefing, scripting, and concept generation.

UGC Creator Collaboration

Partner with creators to consistently produce high-performing performance creative.

Own:

Creator creative briefs
Creative direction
Script feedback
Creator coaching
Creative quality reviews
Performance feedback
Long-term creator relationships

Work closely with the creator acquisition process to ensure creators receive clear direction and consistently improve the quality and performance of their content. This role focuses on creative execution rather than creator recruiting, onboarding, contracting, or operational management.

Ad Strategy & Copy Development

Develop ad angles, hooks, scripts, headlines, and messaging frameworks designed to drive

performance across paid social channels

Write and refine ad copy concepts that align with customer psychology, platform behavior, and

product positioning

Translate customer pain points, desires, objections, and motivations into compelling ad narratives

Continuously study customer feedback, reviews, and creative performance to uncover new messaging opportunities.

Collaborate with UGC creators and editors to shape ad structure, talking points, and

performance-focused storytelling

Continuously study winning ads, competitors, and market trends to improve creative strategy

and messaging quality

Testing & Concept Development

Develop and test new ad formats and storytelling frameworks

Champion systematic testing of UGC, motion, carousels, headlines, hooks, etc.

Partner with Performance Marketing to organize creative test vs. control experiments and validate new concepts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Designer(s) to align strategy with execution

Support product drops, bundles, and key calendar moments with compelling creative concepts

Decision Rights & Handoffs

The Senior Performance Creative Strategist owns creative brief development, UGC creator direction, script writing, creative messaging, and maintaining the "What's Working" documentation independently.

Requires approval from the Head of Performance Marketing:

Final creative briefs before production
Creative testing priorities
Monthly testing budget allocation
Agency test vs. control structure
Major creative initiatives

Requires approval from the CEO:

Annual creative strategy
Major creative investments

Channel Expansion

Channel expansion into TikTok and YouTube is a future growth opportunity, evaluated in Q3/Q4

based on Meta performance.

Results

Creative Throughput

Maintain a consistent pipeline of new creative concepts ready for testing.

Win Rate

≥8% of tested concepts reach Tier 1 ($2,000 cumulative spend).

Winning Ads in Rotation

≥3 Tier 2+ winners ($10,000+ cumulative spend) actively scaling at any time.

Documentation

Maintain the “What’s Working” doc and ad performance log updated within 48 hours of each test cycle close.

Brief Quality

Head of Performance Marketing rates ≥80% of creative briefs as ready to execute without requiring structural revision.

Creative Learning

Every major creative test produces documented insights that improve future creative strategy, messaging, and execution. Ensure organizational knowledge compounds by capturing what worked, what failed, and why.

Measured by:

"What's Working" documentation updated within 48 hours
Hook Library continuously expanded and maintained
Messaging Framework updated with validated learnings
Creative Playbooks refined based on performance data

Requirements

Experience

4-6+ years in performance creative, paid social, or UGC-driven marketing at a DTC brand or

growth agency

Strong grasp of paid social ad anatomy (hooks, scroll-stoppers, CTA structure)

Excellent communicator — both in brief writing and giving clear feedback

Obsessed with testing, learning, and building frameworks that scale

Deeply collaborative: thrives in a small team where iteration happens fast

Bonus: Copywriting or visual design background is a plus (but not required)

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $120,000–$140,000

Target Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary, based on achievement of individual and company performance objectives, including:
