Full Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions industry, is seeking a passionate and skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting innovative data initiatives and driving the development of scalable data platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive in this collaborative environment.

Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Remote

What's the Job?

Design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala, Redis, Kafka, and Kafka Streams/KStream for real-time data processing.
Develop and maintain large-scale distributed data platforms, streaming architectures, and high-performance ETL/ELT workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement emerging AI/data technologies, including vector and graph databases, to support advanced analytics and intelligent applications.
Engage directly with clients, providing presentations and insights to meet their data needs effectively.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all data engineering activities.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on data pipeline development and management.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with data integration and ETL tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or Talend.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
