Full Job Description

Job Title: Bookkeeper “Client Accounting Specialist”

Job Location: Fully Remote work with Location of Residence in Nebraska or Iowa

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to support our clients’ bookkeeping needs. You will be responsible for individual clients’ bookkeeping, to include processing payroll, month-end reconciliations and other tasks to close their books. To do well in the role you must be accountable, can work independently, and be motivated with a positive attitude. Primary software used in this position is QuickBooks Online, Dext, Excel, Financial Cents, and Office 365.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Posting all business bank transactions.

· Completing the monthly bank reconciliations.

· Post all business credit card transactions.

· Completing the monthly credit card reconciliations.

· Posting expenses and cash transactions.

· Posting sales from point of sales systems.

· Completing the monthly sales tax reconciliation.

· Reconcile fixed assets

· Completing other asset and liability reconciliations.

· Accounts payable processing and payment.

· Processing payroll and associated transactions.

· Submitting 401(k) and Simple IRA contributions

· Process year end 1099’s

Qualifications:

· Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience.

· 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. With an excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.

· Experience with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Office 365 preferred.

· Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.

Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· High attention to detail and accuracy of work.

· Professional and willing to work with your team to meet company goals.

· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft

Hours and Benefits:

· Fully Remote

· Full time working 32 - 40 hours a week.

· Flexible hours

· Unlimited PTO

· 401k and Profit Sharing after your first year

· Health insurance & Supplemental Benefits is not offered
