How you’ll contribute
A Nurse Extern who excels in this role:

Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse

Works collaboratively with the patient care team

Provides direct patient care under the direction, delegation and supervision of a registered nurse

Documents patient care given

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN

What we’re looking for: The Nursing Student must have completed one semester of clinicals and be enrolled in an accredited nursing program at the Associate or Bachelor level.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
