Full Job Description

Location: Roanoke, VA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Remote training period, then onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time

We're seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for professional and management-level positions with a strong focus on Information Technology and Cybersecurity. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned recruiter who enjoys partnering with hiring leaders, building talent pipelines, and making a direct impact on business success.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll own the recruitment process from start to finish by:

Partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies
Managing full-cycle recruiting for professional, exempt, and management-level positions
Sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking, referrals, and other creative sourcing methods
Screening resumes and conducting phone and virtual interviews
Coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications throughout the hiring process
Conducting reference and background checks
Extending and negotiating employment offers
Coordinating onboarding activities for new hires
Maintaining accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Building strong relationships with hiring managers and serving as a trusted recruiting advisor
Participating in career fairs, networking events, and other talent attraction initiatives
Ensuring compliance with employment laws, recruiting policies, and Affirmative Action requirements
Identifying opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience
Serving as a resource and mentor for less experienced recruiters when needed

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

5+ years of corporate full-cycle recruiting experience
Experience recruiting professional/exempt and management-level positions
Experience recruiting IT and/or Cybersecurity professionals
3+ years of experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Strong experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms
Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and HR Business Partners
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions independently
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience recruiting for positions such as:

Cybersecurity Engineers
Information Security Analysts
Security Operations Center (SOC) Analysts
Cloud Security Engineers
Network Security Engineers
Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialists
Software Engineers
IT Infrastructure professionals
Experience with Affirmative Action Plans (AAP)
Experience attending career fairs and networking events
Experience mentoring junior recruiters
Experience driving recruiting process improvements
