Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional food quality, ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding dining experience. Your leadership will inspire creativity, foster teamwork, and drive operational excellence across all food production and service areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing a vibrant, fast-paced environment dedicated to fine dining and catering excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated team culture.
Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that meets quality standards and customer preferences while controlling costs.
Manage food preparation, presentation, and service to uphold the highest standards of taste and visual appeal.
Implement and maintain food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate food production for various events including banquets, catering functions, and special occasions with precision and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and manage procurement processes to optimize resources without compromising quality.
Supervise shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow from kitchen to front-of-house staff while maintaining excellent food service management.
Conduct regular training on food handling, cooking techniques, dietary accommodations, and safety procedures to elevate team skills.
Oversee kitchen cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and compliance with all health department regulations.
Collaborate with management on budgeting, staffing schedules, and performance evaluations to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management.
Extensive banquet experience along with catering expertise for large-scale events.
Supervising experience leading diverse culinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of dietary department standards and experience managing food production for special dietary needs.
Strong skills in inventory control, cost management, and food industry best practices.
Demonstrated ability in menu planning, food service management, and shift leadership within restaurant or hospitality settings.
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling regulations, and sanitation standards.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing inventory management systems.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy kitchen environment.
