Full Job Description

Commercial Sales Executive

A 50-person commercial services organization is seeking a driven Commercial Sales Executive to lead new business development across an established regional territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, opening new accounts, and delivering customized solutions to commercial clients. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your territory while being supported by an experienced operations team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

This search is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is motivated by uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

Business Development: Prospect and develop new commercial business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
Client Engagement: Meet with business owners, property managers, facility managers, operations leaders, and other decision-makers to understand their operational needs.
Consultations & Proposals: Conduct on-site consultations and develop customized service recommendations.
Closing & Partnerships: Prepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and pricing for prospective clients.
Pipeline Management: Negotiate service agreements and close long-term commercial partnerships.
Operational Collaboration: Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately track opportunities within the CRM.
Collaborate with operations and account management teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
Community Representation: Represent the company professionally within the local business community while identifying opportunities for long-term growth.

Requirements

2+ years of successful outside B2B sales or business development experience.
Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business.
Experience selling commercial services, facility services, restoration, pest control, landscaping, building maintenance, industrial products, uniforms and linen, HVAC, construction services, property management solutions, or similar B2B offerings is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable working independently while managing a territory.
Experience using CRM software to manage pipelines and customer activity.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
