What Will You Do?

The Audit Lead will be responsible for representing our clients in front of the IRS and/or state government agencies in examinations.

Research and develop strategies to defend client’s position while considering their specific goals.
Consistently communicate with clients via email/phone/video call/mail regarding their audit plan, case updates, and expectations.
Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.
Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Must be a CPA and/or Enrolled Agent licensed to practice in Oklahoma, or another state within the United States, at the time of application.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the areas of income tax, financial accounting, or audit.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working IRS and/or state audits.
Background in federal income tax, preferred
A positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with great follow up.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the skill to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
Capacity to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Capability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with a lot of client interaction
Receives enjoyment from problem solving and working through issues with clients and team members.
Adaptable and a team player when priorities shift, or unexpected challenges arise.
Access to the following equipment to perform the required work duties
computer, laptop, monitor(s), and/or smart phone
internet with a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps
Satisfactory background and reference checks.
