At Rooted Play Studio, we believe in the power of play to foster creativity, development, and connection in children and families. Our vibrant play studio offers a fun, safe, and imaginative space for children ages 0-6 to explore, create, and enjoy unforgettable experiences. We are passionate about nurturing a love for learning and play in every child, and we're looking for an energetic, creative, and dynamic team member to join us!

We are seeking a Play Studio Facilitator who is enthusiastic, loves to sing, dance, and engage with young children and their families. As a key member of our team, you will lead interactive play sessions, facilitate creative activities, and ensure every child has a magical experience at our studio. You’ll also help organize and host birthday parties and special events. If you have experience working with children and are ready to create joyful, playful environments, we’d love to meet you!

** This position is ideal for someone pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field while taking evening classes. The schedule primarily consists of half-day (am) middle of the week shifts with weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging, high-energy play sessions for children ages 0-6, incorporating singing, dancing, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
Facilitate art, sensory, and imaginative play experiences that foster creativity and development.
Interact positively with both children and parents, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Assist in planning and hosting birthday parties and special events, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all guests.
Set up and clean up play areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
Promote a fun, positive, and supportive space for families, responding to their needs with enthusiasm and care.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new ideas for play sessions, events, and community engagement.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children (ages 0-6) in a group setting (early childhood education, playgroup facilitator, daycare, etc.).
Energetic, outgoing personality with a love for singing, dancing, and creating fun-filled experiences.
Ability to engage children and families through play-based learning and activities.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Passionate about creating a joyful, safe, and enriching environment for children and their caregivers.
Team player who can adapt to the needs of a fast-paced play studio.
Availability to work part-time hours, including weekends and occasional evenings for birthday parties and events.
