Clinician
Cristen’s Caring Corner LLC – Tarboro, NC

Cristen’s Caring Corner LLC is hiring an experienced Clinician for our Level III Residential Group Home serving adolescent females ages 12–17 with mental health and behavioral needs. This position is ideal for a compassionate professional who has experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or therapeutic settings.

Job Summary

The Clinician provides direct clinical services, treatment planning, crisis intervention support, and coordination of care for residents in a structured 24-hour residential setting. The Clinician works closely with leadership, direct care staff, guardians, and community providers to support stabilization, treatment progress, and successful discharge outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
Complete biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations
Develop and update treatment plans
Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies
Participate in treatment team meetings and case staffing
Coordinate care with DSS, guardians, schools, and outside providers
Maintain timely, accurate documentation
Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination
Train/support staff on trauma-informed approaches and behavioral interventions
Ensure compliance with NC Medicaid and state regulations

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Active NC license or associate-level status preferred (LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LMFT/A)
Required: Experience working with adolescents
Required: Experience in residential treatment, group home, foster care, PRTF, juvenile justice, or behavioral health setting
Strong crisis de-escalation and communication skills
Experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and behavioral disorders preferred
Knowledge of documentation standards and treatment planning

Schedule

Part-Time
Evenings availability may be required
On-call participation may be required

Compensation

Based on experience, licensure, and qualifications.
