Full Job Description

Job Description: As a Procurement Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include ordering medications, supplies, and other things needed to keep the pharmacy running smoothly. You will be also in charge of putting away the items and knowing where they are when they arrive. You will also work closely with our procurement manager and pharmacists to ensure that all medications are ordered accurately and safely, adhering to strict industry standards and protocols. And in down time will help out in the pharmacy to keep things moving. Would prefer someone who has had CPR+ experience but can train.

Key Responsibilities:

Ordering: Order the necessary medications and supplies including for compounding and production, ensuring all materials are available and in good condition.
Supply Management: Putting away orders received and keeping inventory of the items plus knowing when to order more.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on ordered products to ensure accuracy of orders and that they arrive in good condition.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all ordering, including medication, supplies, and other items requiring invoices/documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with procurement manager, pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient ordering, stock levels and helping other departments if needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
License as a Pharmacy Technician in California is required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
