Full Job Description

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized individual to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this role, you will help create a welcoming experience while supporting daily front-desk operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages when needed
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Collect and update patient information with accuracy and confidentiality
Check patients in and out, verify required forms, and process necessary paperwork
Assist with coordinating front-desk workflow to support smooth office operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members
Provide support with insurance verification and other patient service tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Proficiency with computers and standard office software
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Experience in a medical or specialty practice is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
