Position: Lead Teacher
Salary: Lead Teacher $37,000- 45,000 to start per year
- Additional Incentive Package Available
- Salary will be based on qualifications and experience
Qualifications: Lead –A valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Early Childhood Education (ZA) (ZS) Or A bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education with specialization in preschool teaching. The transcript must document a major, in child development or early childhood education. Must pass background and tuberculous test.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish a classroom structure that values positive relationships through intentional implementation of the Connect for Learning Curriculum and the vision of high-quality instruction.
- Establish a classroom culture that supports non-academic needs of all students in order to remove barriers that interfere with academic success.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Work with Curriculum Leader to prepare and deliver lessons and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Observe and evaluate each student’s performance and development using Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students, provide appropriate feedback on work, and use information to adjust teaching strategies according to student need.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Participate in collaborative weekly team meetings, month/ bi-monthly Board Meetings, monthly meetings from COOR ISD, along with 2 parent teacher conferences, and 1 home visits per family a year.
