At Insight Wealth Strategies, we’ve built our firm around one simple idea: financial planning works best when everything is connected.

We partner closely with our clients—high-net-worth individuals, executives, and retirees—to guide their investments, retirement decisions, and long-term financial plans. As we continue to grow, one piece has become increasingly important to bring fully in-house: tax.

That’s where you come in.

What We’re Building

We’re looking for an experienced CPA, or a small CPA firm, to become part of our team and help us build out a dedicated tax offering for our clients.

This isn’t a “plug into a rigid role” type of position. It’s an opportunity to step into a firm with an established client base and play a key role in shaping how tax planning and preparation integrate into a broader wealth management experience.

You’ll be working alongside advisors who already value tax strategy as part of planning—not as an afterthought.

What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like

You’ll lead tax preparation and planning for a growing group of clients, many of whom have complex financial situations. That includes things like multi-state tax considerations (especially California and Texas), retirement income planning, and equity compensation.

Just as importantly, you’ll collaborate directly with our advisory team to align tax decisions with investment and retirement strategies. The goal is simple: give clients a more complete, coordinated plan.

This role tends to resonate with CPAs who have experience in smaller firms or have built their own practice and are now looking for something more integrated.

What You Bring

You’re a CPA with strong technical knowledge and real-world experience working with individuals and families, ideally including higher-net-worth clients. You’re comfortable navigating multi-state tax considerations, particularly California and Texas.

Just as important, you’re someone who enjoys working as part of a team and sees the value in aligning tax strategy with broader financial planning.

This role is based in Houston with flexibility in how you structure your time. Compensation is flexible and will align with your experience and how you plug into the firm.
