Position Overview
We're looking for a creative, motivated Junior Multimedia Designer & Content Creator to join our team! This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for graphic design, social media, video production, and visual storytelling.
In this position, you'll create engaging content that supports our brand across print, digital, and social media platforms. You'll design marketing materials, produce and edit short-form videos, create social media content, and help bring member stories and organizational initiatives to life. Working closely with executive leadership and teams across the organization, you'll play an important role in strengthening our brand, increasing engagement, and connecting with our audience.
The ideal candidate has a modern creative perspective, stays current with design and social media trends, and enjoys transforming ideas into compelling visual content. While extensive professional experience isn't required, we're looking for someone with a strong portfolio, solid design fundamentals, creativity, attention to detail, and the initiative to see projects through from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design and Branding
- Design marketing materials including print collateral, digital ads, presentations, email graphics, signage, and branded templates.
- Create high-quality materials for both digital distribution and professional print production.
- Maintain and help evolve the organization’s brand guidelines.
- Ensure brand consistency across all campaigns, platforms, and communication materials.
- Translate ideas and business objectives into clear, engaging visual designs.
- Incorporate feedback and revise creative materials as needed.
Social Media Content
- Create engaging graphics, reels, short-form videos, animations, and other social media content.
- Help plan and maintain a social media content calendar.
- Adapt content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, as appropriate.
- Write or assist with concise captions, headlines, and calls to action.
- Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
- Review content performance and use insights to improve future creative work.
Video and Testimonial Production
- Assist in planning, recording, and editing testimonial videos featuring members, customers, and claimants.
- Conduct or support on-camera interviews in a professional and comfortable environment.
- Edit video content for social media, websites, presentations, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Add captions, graphics, music, transitions, branding, and other production elements.
- Organize and maintain digital assets, including video footage, photography, and media releases.
- Ensure appropriate permissions and approvals are obtained before testimonial content is published.
- Handle personal stories and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Capture and edit photography for marketing materials, social media, and organizational events.
Project Management and Collaboration
- Collaborate with executive leadership and departments to understand project goals and communication needs.
- Manage multiple creative projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Coordinate projects from initial concept through final production and delivery.
- Prepare and organize files for print, web, social media, and archival use.
- Work with outside printers, photographers, videographers, or other vendors when needed.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, events, and organizational communications.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
- Zero to five years of relevant professional, internship, freelance, or academic experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating graphic design, social media content, and video or multimedia work.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar content-creation platforms is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of photography, videography, lighting, audio recording, and video editing.
- Understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, color, composition, hierarchy, and branding.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content trends.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to accept feedback, make revisions, and collaborate effectively.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrates creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express AI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar applications) is a plus.
