Full Job Description

Welder Fabricator

The welder fabricator position involves working with metal and other materials to create components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and experience with welding, with a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to create structural components
Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various metals (basic to intermediate level)
Operate tools and machinery including saws, grinders, and presses
Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy and quality
Maintain clean and safe workspaces
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Requirements:

1–3 years of fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic welding skills (MIG and/or TIG preferred)
Ability to read technical drawings and tape measures accurately
Familiarity with hand tools and fabrication machinery
Good problem-solving and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
Must be a US Person
Welding certification (not required, but a plus)
Experience working with steel, aluminum, or stainless materials preferred
Basic familiarity with precision measuring equipment preferred
