Print Estimator
Responsibilities: Assess project requirements, analyze specifications, and create accurate, competitive estimates for print jobs. Collaborate closely with sales, production, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret project requirements and analyze specifications
- Knowledge of print production processes and materials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience estimating print projects
- Experience with EPMS Estimating Software (Eclipse 32) or EFI Pace is a plus
Customer Service Representative / Project Manager
Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service through oral and written communication. Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones. Prepare and process quotes, orders, and sample requests, following up promptly. Coordinate with sales, production, suppliers, and customers on pricing, specs, and deadlines. Advise customers on best strategies to achieve their goals, and learn to speak knowledgeably about design principles, printing processes, paper options, and postal specifications.
Qualifications:
- Professional, outgoing communicator who works well independently
- Customer service experience preferred; print/graphic communications experience a plus
- Basic sales mindset — comfortable discussing program enhancements and secondary services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); basic CRM experience preferred
- Relationship-focused approach, both internally and externally
Prepress Technician
Responsibilities: Preflight and prepare customer files for offset and digital printing. Build imposition layouts for a range of press and finishing configurations. Manage color and proofing standards. Produce plates via CTP. Troubleshoot file issues with customers and design teams, and coordinate specs with estimating and production.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop)
- Experience with prepress workflow and imposition software
- Solid understanding of bleed, trim, color management, and print-ready file standards
- CTP platemaking experience a plus
Packaging Designer/Engineer
Responsibilities: Design and structurally engineer custom packaging — folding cartons, displays, and rigid boxes. Develop die lines and structural CAD layouts. Build mockups, prototypes, and samples for client approval. Work with sales and estimating to ensure designs are production-feasible within our finishing and gluing capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience with structural packaging design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD or similar)
- Strong knowledge of carton styles, die-cutting, scoring, and gluing processes
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Strong spatial reasoning and 3D visualization skills
- Portfolio of packaging design/engineering work preferred
Variable Data Specialist
Responsibilities: Program and execute variable data (VDP) jobs for personalized direct mail and marketing materials. Build data-driven templates and manage data files for merges. Coordinate with digital press operators for output, and ensure data accuracy and compliance with USPS requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience with VDP software (e.g., FusionPro, XMPie, or similar)
- Strong Excel/database skills and meticulous attention to data accuracy
- Understanding of direct mail and USPS specifications (CASS certification, NCOA, postal classes)
- Basic scripting or programming aptitude a plus
Press Operator
Responsibilities: Set up and operate sheetfed offset and/or digital presses. Perform make-ready, plate mounting, registration, and color calibration. Monitor print quality throughout production runs and perform routine press maintenance. Support our 24-hour production schedule across shifts.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating sheetfed offset presses (Heidelberg, Komori, etc.) and/or digital presses
- Strong color matching and quality control skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Willingness to work flexible shifts in a 24-hour operation
Finishing/Bindery Operator
Responsibilities: Set up and operate bindery and finishing equipment — cutters, folders, die-cutters, laminators, saddle-stitchers, and perfect/case binders. Follow job tickets and specifications precisely, and perform quality checks throughout production.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating bindery/finishing equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read job specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with flatbed cutting equipment (e.g., Zund) a plus
Shipping & Receiving Associate
Responsibilities: Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders. Prepare finished goods for shipment — palletizing, labeling, and packaging. Coordinate with carriers and freight providers, maintain accurate inventory and shipping records, and keep the warehouse organized and safe.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience/certification a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
