Full Job Description

Welder

Job Overview:

We are seeking a welder for our 1st shift to join our Welding Department. This individual will be performing TIG, MIG, Brazing, and Spot-Welding to join metal components and/or fill holes and seams. It will contain about 60% Welding responsibilities and 40% cross-training in other positions such as fabrication, assembly, or other metal manufacturing operations. This is a full-time, skilled position. The ideal candidate will be looking for a solid company where he/she can establish long-term employment that will offer growth and opportunity.

Qualifications Desired:

2+ years of experience in MIG and TIG Welding preferred.
Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to work independently.
Expectations for attendance & performance. We’re looking for a driven person who maintains great attendance and is able to perform their role without constant guidance (someone who is self-sufficient).
Experience with material thickness from .030 to .250 in range.
Ability to measure and inspect his/her own work to ensure conformance with drawings.
Ability to perform verification of materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Able to lift 50 lbs
Candidate will be required to pass skills test including a hands-on welding test.
