A day in the life of a Branch Manager:

· Leverage leadership and communication skills to partner with team members to make every entrance into the branch a warm and welcoming tone

· Act as primary lender, originating, processing and closing member loans

· Provide direction, coaching, and training to the team to meet established goals

· Oversee day-to-day operations and security protocols

· Serve members by uncovering needs and offering the best products; resolve concerns

· Ability to travel between branches and work at other branches as needed

Branch Manager attributes and skills:

· Manage, coach, and teach retail team members, with the ability to build teamwork

· Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations & environments

· Highly effective communicator, both verbal and written

· Ability to multi-task with strong time and organizational skills

· Ability to critically think and problem-solve

· Ability to build trust and rapport with others while fostering sound relationships

· Self- motivated with a strong work ethic, with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

This position is an exempt position with branch and team management responsibilities and will work between 45-55 hours / week.

Branch Manager qualifications:

At least 5 years of related experience in a financial institution with a minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience.
Lending experience preferred.
A college degree is preferred. Equivalent knowledge attained job experience will be considered
