Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and healthcare documentation, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional nursing services. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. The position offers an engaging environment where your expertise directly impacts patient well-being and recovery.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
Administer medications and treatments accurately, including injections, IV infusions, and wound suturing when necessary.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information and medical records precisely.
Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, or pediatrics based on experience.
Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection, and laboratory procedures to support accurate diagnoses.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.

Requirements

Valid nursing license (RN) in the relevant jurisdiction with current certification.
Proven experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency room, or long-term care facilities.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to nursing practice.
Experience in specialized areas such as trauma medicine (Level I/II Trauma Center), cardiology (catheterization), or infectious disease care is preferred.
Ability to perform complex procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile dressing changes.
Excellent communication skills combined with critical thinking and compassionate patient care approach.
Additional skills such as wound suturing, dialysis support, pain management experience, or hospice & palliative medicine are advantageous.
