Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team.

This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components to specification. The CNC Operator will work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure parts meet performance and quality standards while contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation & Setup

 Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) in accordance with production

requirements.

 Load raw materials and monitor machining processes for accuracy and efficiency.

 Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

 Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.

Quality Assurance

 Inspect finished components using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

 Ensure all parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards.

 Document inspections and report any deviations or issues.

Process Optimization

 Identify and recommend improvements to machining processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

 Collaborate with engineers and the Production Manager to implement process changes or upgrades.

 Assist in tooling and fixture setup to enhance part accuracy and repeatability.

Collaboration & Communication

 Work closely with the production and general assembly teams to support seamless

operations.

 Communicate technical issues or delays to leadership promptly.

 Participate in team meetings and ongoing training initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

 Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

 Maintain a clean and organized work area.

 Ensure compliance with OSHA and company-specific safety policies.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or CNC training preferred.

 Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines.

 Proficient with precision measuring instruments.

 Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.

 Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.

 Experience with Haas CNC machines a plus.
