Job Purpose

Mitsubishi Chemical has posted Entry Level Operator positions for our Films Department. Starting pay is $25.30 with open progression up to $34.55 depending upon your job certification and job assignment.

Principal Accountabilities

Job Responsibilities:

Process quality film safely in a manufacturing work environment following established processes and procedures.
Certify and learn job according to training documentation and certify to required level.

High School diploma or GED from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or state/country of residence
Must be able to pass on-the-job training requirements which may include physical – lifting, pushing and pulling, computer-based safety training, and forklift training.
Must be dependable and able to work in team-based environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a strong desire to learn and progress within a manufacturing environment.
Computer skills
Must be able to pass post-offer onboarding requirements which include hair and urine drug screen, background check, pre-employment physical exams
Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts which include 4 days on/4 days off and 4 weeks on day shift/4 weeks on night shift.
Must be able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship
Must be 18 years of age or older

The starting pay for this position is $25.30 with open progression to $34.55 depending on job certification and job assignment. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
