Full Job Description

Construction Journeyman & Helper/Apprentice – Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity

Uwin Home Services, LLC (Uwin Homes) is a growing residential construction company established in 2025. We are currently working on a custom home construction project in North County San Diego and are looking for reliable people who would like to grow with our company as we take on additional projects.

Positions Available

1. Construction Journeyman

Pay: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience and skills
Strong residential construction experience preferred
Experience in framing, remodeling, concrete, finish work, and general construction is a plus
Able to work independently and solve problems in the field
Must be reliable and responsible

2. Construction Helper / Apprentice

Pay: $22–$30/hour, depending on experience and skills
Some construction experience preferred, but we are willing to consider someone with less experience who is hardworking and eager to learn
Assist with various phases of residential construction
Opportunity to learn different aspects of custom home construction

Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity

These positions will initially be temporary positions for approximately 2–3 months.

During this period, we will have an opportunity to see how well we work together. Based on job performance, reliability, business needs, and mutual agreement, the position may be extended into a regular full-time employment position.

We are a relatively new and growing company, so we are especially interested in finding people who are dependable, versatile, willing to learn, and interested in growing with the company long term.

Current Work

Our current primary project is a new custom home construction project in North County San Diego. Our work includes:

Custom home construction
ADUs and additions
Residential remodeling
Framing and structural work
Concrete and exterior work
General residential construction

Requirements

Reliable and punctual
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Able to perform physical construction work
Reliable transportation to job sites
Valid driver's license preferred
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Willing to follow job-site safety requirements
