A law office in the San Juan metropolitan area is seeking an experienced Paralegal Assistant to support its notarial and real estate practice.

Position Details

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare drafts of deeds, affidavits, powers of attorney, resolutions, closing documents, and other legal instruments.
Assist with real estate purchases, sales, mortgages, cancellations, segregations, property subdivisions, and condominium matters.
Review title reports, property certifications, and supporting closing documents.
Request and follow up on certifications from the Property Registry, CRIM, Treasury Department, ASUME, and other government agencies.
Organize notarial files, protocols, monthly indexes, and related records.
Coordinate real estate closings with clients, banks, brokers, title professionals, and government agencies.
Maintain calendars, deadlines, client communications, and electronic and physical files.
Perform other administrative and paralegal duties associated with the firm’s legal practice.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
