As part of our continued growth, we are expanding operations into Puerto Rico. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team during this exciting phase of expansion.

Position Overview

The Medical Appointment Scheduler plays a critical role in supporting daily operations by coordinating patient appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using phone systems and scheduling software
Verify patient demographics and insurance information, ensuring accuracy in all systems
Provide professional and courteous support to patients regarding appointments, services, and coverage
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to optimize scheduling and patient flow
Perform clerical and administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and support for billing processes
Address patient concerns promptly and escalate issues when appropriate

Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical, radiology, or healthcare setting preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
Proficiency in data entry and basic office systems

Schedule

Monday through Friday
Weekend availability as needed
