Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Drafting Support and Coordinator to provide drafting, document control, and coordination support for a major capital project in Puerto Rico. This role will be responsible for maintaining engineering drawings and related documentation, coordinating drawing revisions and approvals, and supporting project reporting and document management activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with drafting documentation, CAD-related processes, drawing revision control, and document management within a regulated or highly structured project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, edit, organize, and archive drawings and related documentation in accordance with established project and client procedures.
Coordinate and support the drawing revision and approval process, serving as a point of coordination when required.
Drive drawing revisions through the appropriate review and approval workflows to ensure timely completion.
Manage project-related reporting, documentation, and coordination through client platforms and site communication systems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
Ensure all required customer and project procedure training remains current and valid.
Follow client and company procedures, standards, and guidelines to ensure service quality, consistency, and continuity.
Coordinate with site personnel, engineering teams, construction teams, project leadership, and client representatives regarding drawing revisions and documentation requirements.
Provide additional drafting, documentation, and coordination support as assigned and consistent with project responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a comparable discipline; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience with drafting, CAD documentation, engineering drawings, or drawing revision control.
Experience working with document management systems, engineering documentation, or revision and approval workflows.
Experience maintaining, editing, and archiving engineering drawings and related project documentation.
Ability to coordinate and drive drawing revisions through review and approval processes.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work effectively with project teams, client representatives, and site personnel.
