Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join HouseAmerica’s team. The position involves managing residential mortgage loan files from application through closing, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with investor, lender, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Review mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Collect, analyze, and verify borrower information, including income, assets, credit, employment, and property documentation.
Order and track third-party services such as appraisals, title reports, flood certifications, and verifications.
Communicate regularly with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, real estate agents, and settlement agents regarding loan status and outstanding conditions.
Submit complete loan packages to underwriting and ensure timely fulfillment of all underwriting conditions.
Monitor loan pipelines and proactively manage deadlines to meet closing timelines.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and company lending guidelines, including TRID, RESPA, TILA, and other applicable regulations.
Review Closing Disclosures and closing packages for accuracy prior to funding.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process.
Identify and resolve issues that may delay loan approval or closing.

Qualifications Required

Strong organizational skills; self-starter, motivated
2+ years of mortgage loan processing experience.
Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA and Jumbo loan programs. Knowledge of non-QM loans is a big plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

NMLS licensing
Experience Proficiency with Encompass is a plus

Pay:

· Hourly wage (annualized $55,000-$65,000)

· Per-File bonus commensurate with experience

Experience:

Minimum 2 years loan processing experience

Work Location:

· Preferred in-person (La Canada, CA)

· Remote will be considered based on experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
