Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Guest Service Representative to create a welcoming environment for our guests and ensure their experience is exceptional from start to finish. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, providing outstanding customer service, assisting with product information, and managing transactions efficiently. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help foster a positive atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail and customer service skills while contributing to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Guest registration, computing and collecting payment, and verification of credit card transactions
Transmit and receive messages via telephone
Read and run various reports
Cash handling and balancing operating funds
Make and confirm guest reservations
Maintain records of assigned and available rooms
Sort and rack incoming messages and mail
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of front lobby
Proactively recognize and address guest concerns
Identify sales opportunities to increase revenue
Cheerfully interact and assist guests with information regarding property and local amenities

Skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal work instructions
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and effectively
Bilingual abilities are a plus but not neccesary, helping serve a diverse customer base with ease
Excellent customer service skills combined with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
