Full Job Description

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to help create exceptional pastries, breads, desserts, and baked goods while supporting the daily operations of our pastry department.

If you're passionate about craftsmanship, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and love mentoring others, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

Support the Executive Pastry Chef with daily production and kitchen operations
Create beautiful pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty baked goods
Ensure every product meets our high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation
Lead, train, and develop a team of pastry professionals
Help manage production schedules, inventory, and food costs
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
Participate in recipe development, menu innovation, and special event production

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Pastry Sous Chef, Lead Pastry Cook, or similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and commercial kitchen operations
Experience in high-volume restaurants, hotels, catering, banquets, or production kitchens preferred
Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills
A passion for creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning
Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
