Job Type

First three months: Full time 1099 Contractor during Probationary Period (Monday – Friday)

After 3 Months of Probation: Full‐time Employment and Benefits (Monday – Friday)

Overview

Join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk and become a vital part of our commitment to accurate financial management and seamless operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining the integrity of our financial records. Your expertise will help us uphold transparency, efficiency, and accuracy in our accounts payable processes, supporting the overall health of our organization’s financial operations.

Duties

Process high volumes of vendor invoices and employee expenses using the accounting software QuickBooks, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Review and verify invoice details against our Operation software to confirm accuracy and charge to the appropriate expense accounts.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Handle data entry tasks with precision, including account analysis, and double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
Reconcile vendor statements and assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to invoice payments or vendor inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and ensure adherence to internal controls and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Support month-end closing activities.

Skills

Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account reconciliation.
PC proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel for data analysis is essential.
Organizational skills are required.
Effective communication skills for interactions with vendors and internal teams.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
