Full Job Description

We are a technology company located in Sarasota, FL, providing support to medium to large retail chains nationally and internationally..

As a QuickBooks AP/AR Specialist for All Point, you will play a key support role in the Accounting department. Your work will greatly impact the accuracy of the balance sheet and income statement as you record the bulk of transactions in the A/R, A/P, Payroll, and other processes. You will work closely within the Accounting and Finance organization to drive a timely and accurate financial close each month.

We are looking for an ambitious, optimistic, detail-oriented teammate who seeks a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will have an opportunity to do meaningful work and expand your skillset all while working with a talented, fun team.

This position reports to the CFO.

## Responsibilities

* Enter AP invoices daily

* Pay AP bills daily

* Post cash transactions daily

* Generate invoices weekly

* Reconcile cash accounts

* Maintain prepaid expenses and fixed assets schedules including recording monthly amortization

* Assist Accounting Manager in processing payroll with a focus on zero-error payrolls

* Assist Accounting Manager in reconciling all balance sheet accounts during month-end close

* Manage the accounts receivable / customer inbox for issues related to contracts, billing, and payments

* Make sure payments are correctly applied and allocated to customer accounts

* Assist Accounting Manager in managing employee credit cards and reimbursements

* Assist Controller with various tasks (commercial insurance applications, health benefits, etc.)

* Assist Accounting Manager with sales tax and payroll tax registrations and processing

* Assist Controller in preparing external reporting packs to bank and unit holders

* Manage the 1099 year-end process

* Assist with collections of accounts receivable

* Other administrative duties as needed

## Qualifications

* Extensive experience with QBO (QuickBooks Online)

* 3 to 5 years bookkeeping experience

* Familiar with the following processes: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll, and Month-end close

* Well organized (established system for tracking and completing tasks)

* Detail-focused

* Basic understanding of financial statements (balance sheet and income statement)

* Understand the basics of accounting (debits, credits, capitalized costs, accruals, cut off)

* Comfortable talking with vendors/clients on the phone

* Strong knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks

* Comfortable learning software programs (CRM, Payroll, Vendor payments, ERP, etc.)

* Always seeking to improve existing processes or to create new ones

* Aware and protective of sensitive data

* Comfortable with large amounts of data
