C5T is seeking an Integration Suite Developer to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), USTRANSCOM's enterprise SAP S/4HANA platform supporting global transportation, logistics, procurement, financial, and supply chain operations. This position serves as a key member of the application development team responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable integrations between SAP applications and external Department of Defense and commercial transportation systems.
The Integration Suite Developer designs and develops SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI) solutions, API-based integrations, event-driven architectures, and enterprise interface solutions while ensuring compliance with SAP best practices, Clean Core principles, and Department of Defense transportation requirements. The position works closely with SAP functional analysts, architects, developers, government stakeholders, and contractor teammates to deliver mission-critical transportation capabilities supporting global mobility operations.
Location: Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Work will primarily take place in government workspaces with limited telework based on mission requirements.
Analyze business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design enterprise integration solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI) integration flows (iFlows).
Develop synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and API-led integration architectures.
Configure standard and custom SAP adapters including REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, JDBC, and IDoc.
Configure connectors, routing rules, mappings, and security protocols including OAuth, SAML, and SSL/TLS.
Develop and maintain EDI integrations using Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management (TPM), and message implementation guidelines.
Design and implement message mappings, transformations, and routing logic across SAP and external systems.
Develop Groovy and Java scripts to support complex integration requirements.
Develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain SAP ABAP interfaces utilizing Proxy and IDoc technologies.
Support SAP enterprise service architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP Integration Suite interfaces to ensure system reliability and performance.
Conduct unit, integration, and release testing for integration solutions.
Develop and maintain technical design documentation and interface specifications.
Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and development standards compliance.
Assist with requirements analysis, solution design, and level-of-effort estimates.
Support API publishing, security, monitoring, and lifecycle management within SAP BTP.
Collaborate with SAP functional teams, architects, and technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure integration solutions comply with SAP Clean Core principles, DoD transportation regulations, and enterprise architecture standards.
Support mission-critical transportation and logistics operations through reliable enterprise integration services.
Extensive experience developing enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI).
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and enterprise integration architecture.
Experience designing API-led, event-driven, publish-subscribe, point-to-point, and hub-and-spoke integration solutions.
Experience configuring REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, JDBC, and IDoc interfaces.
Strong understanding of XML, JSON, XSLT, and enterprise message transformation techniques.
Experience developing Groovy scripts and API Management solutions within SAP Integration Suite.
Knowledge of SAP IDoc processing, SAP Proxy technologies, and ABAP integration concepts.
Experience implementing OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS, and other secure integration protocols.
Strong understanding of EDI standards including EDIFACT and ANSI X12.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile software development teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation and interface specifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum fifteen (15) years of SAP experience with at least ten (10) years supporting SAP integration middleware.
Active Secret security clearance (minimum required).
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to work on-site at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
Experience supporting USTRANSCOM transportation operations, systems, or modernization programs.
Experience supporting the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS).
Experience with SAP Integration Advisor and Trading Partner Management (TPM).
Experience with SAP NS2 or IL5-hosted SAP environments.
Familiarity with Department of Defense transportation regulations including the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) and DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR).
Knowledge of DoD EDI standards, including Defense Transportation Electronic Business (DTEB) standards.
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite certification or related SAP certifications.
