Full Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Clerk to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting principles, a high level of accuracy, and is proficient in various accounting software. This role will be integral to our day-to-day financial operations and will contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.

You’d Be a Strong Candidate If You Have:

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
2-5+years of proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency with accounting software such as [e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite , QuickBooks or comparable applications].
Skills in Microsoft Office / Google Suites, especially Excel, Google Sheets / Docs .
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with the finance team.

What You’ll Do:

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, verifying approval, and reconciling customer and vendor statements.
Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations with high accuracy.
Journal Entries: Process journal entries to support the month-end closing process.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter financial transactions into our accounting software and maintain accurate and well-organized financial records and files.
Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, reports, and summaries.
Problem-Solving: Communicate with vendors and customers to research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
Administrative Support: Provide general support to the senior members of the accounting department and perform other related duties as assigned.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial information with a high degree of confidentiality.
